Te
Whare Ra: A small family run NZ winery in the Marlborough
area that makes great wines, especially German varietals such as
Gerwurztraminer. Very friendly!
David Coffaro:
Only sells at the winery and through mail order. Known for odd red
blends. Very reasonable price for a great bottle of wine.
A.
Rafanelli: Small family run Dry Creek Valley vineyard.
Makes Zinafadel and Cab and a Merlot that is only available at
the winery. We discovered them totally on chance but I think you
have to make appointments now.
Turley
Wine Cellars: Excellent
mid to high end single vineyard and blended Zins.
Navarro
Vineyards: Anderson valley winery known for German
varietals and Pinot Noir. Reasonable prices and worth the drive
out of the way.
Trader's
Point Creamery: Organic
grass-fed dairy on the northwest side of Indy. Awesome European
style yogurt unlike any disgusting Dannon over-sweetend crap you
find in the stores. Also has "adult" chocolate milk (very very
rich and not overly sweet) and their own raw milk cheese. Farmers
market on the weekend.
