Chem 130, which is one the department's required introductory core courses for the chemistry and the biochemistry majors, provides an introduction to the structure and properties of inorganic compounds. Other courses in the introductory core provide introductions to organic molecules (Chem 120) and to biomolecules (Chem 240), and to the key theortical principles and experimental approaches that guide our exploration of chemistry and of biochemistry (Chem 260).

The links in the navigation bar provide access to course materials and other useful information, including the course syllabus, which serves as our contract, a detailed class schedule, a detailed lab schedule, and an archive of course materials.
